Paws Across the World is published by Pixie Bright Publishing. This page explains what information we collect on this website and how we use it.
The signup is for parents, guardians, educators, librarians, booksellers, and other adults. Children must not submit names, email addresses, or other personal information.
We collect an adult's first name, email address, language, signup page, adult affirmation, privacy consent, selected signup interest, and confirmation status to provide requested PAWS materials and updates. We use double opt-in, so a subscription is not active until the email confirmation is completed. One email address may hold both the Free Goodies and Pawprints in Rio launch-list interests without creating a duplicate subscriber.
Free coloring pages are available only after confirmation through an expiring protected link. The PDF is stored outside the public website, and the link does not reveal its private storage location. Launch-list-only subscribers are not given coloring-page access.
Hostinger hosts this website and its private SQLite subscriber database outside the public web root. Cloudflare Turnstile may help prevent automated abuse when configured. Google Gmail is the temporary authenticated email provider for confirmation, subscription, and owner-notification messages. These providers process only the information needed to perform their services.
Pending records expire after the confirmation period and a seven-day cleanup grace period. Confirmed records are retained while subscribed. After unsubscribe, the name and plain email are removed and an HMAC-derived suppression identifier is retained for 24 months. Private PAWS application logs contain no name, email, raw IP address, or token and are retained for 30 days. Hosting access logs may record the initial opaque-token link request and are restricted through the hosting account. Opening an unsubscribe link does not unsubscribe you until you confirm.
You may unsubscribe through any subscription email or request access or deletion using the contact address below.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use signup information for advertising.
This site does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy and use the cookie-preferences control to review or change your choice.
Confirmation and unsubscribe pages use a short-lived essential session cookie. It contains no name, email address, or raw email-link token and exists only to require a deliberate POST confirmation.
